Summary:
Dwight is a total loser, but Tommy and his friends aren’t sure what to think about his strange finger puppet, Origami Yoda.  Different students relate their experiences with Yoda’s advice or predictions in each chapter as Tommy tries to decide if the puppet is real, or just another of Dwight’s eccentricities, in order to determine whether to ask Sara, the girl he likes, to dance.  Eventually Tommy will have to decide whether he will support Dwight and Origami Yoda, or humiliate him in front of their friends.  Includes instructions for making your own Origami Yoda.

Review:
By turns, funny, sympathetic, thought-provoking and original, Strange Case may coax even reluctant readers into its covers.  Reminiscent of Diary of a Wimpy Kid
