Summary:     
When Ms. Wiggins fences in the town’s favorite sledding hill, eccentric junior high student Lucy Moon takes up the fight.  When others turn on her and Lucy is unjustly punished, she begins to wonder if fighting injustice is worth the trouble.  More importantly, Lucy’s mother has left, and Lucy must deal with her anger and the fear that her mom may not return.
