A rich resource for studying the United States, this site includes link pages for all fifty states, as well as pages for each state’s facts, maps, resources for teachers, games, college information for each state, and other useful links. Review:
The state flowers and trivia sections were interesting, with color photographs and fun stories or facts that students would enjoy. The state bird section I found to be well organized, but the articles were extremely wordy and the language was older – many children would probably not want or be able to read them. The site was easy to navigate, and everything was well labeled.
