Summary:
A fun, informative site that would work well in safety or community units, or when studying current events if a disaster occurs.  This site helps put kids right in the action of preparing in case of an emergency.  It is full of child-friendly information and even games that ultimately lead to families establishing an emergency plan and putting together an emergency supply kit.  It has information on natural disasters, making it a good science resource, and even hosts a spot where children can share their own disasters.

Review:
The site is easy to read and navigate, and a game section would make it a good library home page link as well.  In light of disasters like the Japanese tsunami, this site is a great resource for children who might be worried or frightened.
