Summary:
Seussville is a site I could easily see linking from my library homepage. This site is filled with all sorts of fun features, like character bios, videos, games and teacher lesson plans and resources. Children can register easily and create their own Who or earn “dooklas” for playing on the site which they can return for prizes for their Whoville house. Review:
The games and activities quietly support literacy, math, and critical thinking and problem-solving skills, while still being entertaining. The only problem I noticed with this site was a tendency to lag out and freeze; since it runs in flash, restarting it can be difficult.
